On September 10, the Federation of National Organizations hosted a scholarly discussion at the headquarters of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka under the theme:

"What is the Role of China and Russia Amid the War Hero Hunt, the Separatist Roadmap, the Economic Collapse, and the QUAD Encirclement? What is the Background of Anti-China Sentiment?"

During the event, responding to a request made by the Bolivarian Solidarity of Sri Lanka, the leaders of the Federation of National Organizations signed a joint statement condemning the military threats made by the United States against the sovereign state of Venezuela.

Among the signatories were:

·         Dr. G. Weerasinghe, Secretary of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka

·         Professor Venerable Malwane Chandrarathana Thero, President of the China–Sri Lanka Cooperation Association

·         Dr. Wasantha Bandara, General Secretary of the Patriotic National Movement

·         Senior Advocate Kalyananda Thiranagama

·         Uvindu Wijeweera, representing the Second Generation Party

·         Along with representatives of various other national organizations

At the event, the Sinhala translation of the statement—originally endorsed by anti-imperialist groups across the world—was officially presented by Mr. Jeewantha Jayatissa, Secretary of the Bolivarian Solidarity of Sri Lanka.
