Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Launches New Missile Strikes on US and Israeli Targets

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Monday that it had carried out a new wave of missile and drone strikes targeting United States and Israeli positions, describing the attacks as part of ongoing retaliation against recent military actions targeting Iran.

In a statement released on March 23, the IRGC said the 76th phase of “Operation True Promise 4”—included coordinated strikes on multiple strategic locations. Among the reported targets were US-linked military installations, including Al Dhafra Air Base, the US Fifth Fleet, and Prince Sultan Air Base.

The IRGC said the strikes involved a combination of Qiam liquid-fueled ballistic missiles, Zolfaqar solid-fueled missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles. It claimed the attacks were part of a broader effort to degrade what it described as enemy military infrastructure.

In addition, the statement said Israeli-linked targets in cities such as Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Ashkelon, as well as areas in the Gush Dan region and southern territories, were struck using precision-guided and heavy missiles, including the Khaybar-shekan and Qiam systems.

According to the IRGC, the continued missile and drone launches have successfully penetrated advanced air defense systems and inflicted damage on strategic targets. The statement rejected claims by US and Israeli officials that Iran’s missile and naval capabilities had been significantly weakened.

The IRGC concluded by stating that its retaliatory operations remain ongoing and that further details of their outcomes would be released in due course.
